At our cozy microbakery in Hooper, Colorado, (just 19 miles South of Alamosa ) every morning begins with one simple promise: real food, made the right way. We’re proud to partner with local farmers and ranchers to source the very best — from certified organic local produce from Rio Grande Farm Park & Valley Roots Food Hub and small-batch pantry ingredients to pasture-raised eggs from Yoder Farms, Regenerative Soil Farmed Grass fed and grass finished Blue Range Ranch beef in our hand pressed burgers and organic local potatoes from growers like Jones Farm Organics & White Rock Specialties . Our commitment to quality extends to every plate: no shortcuts, no seed oils, and as many organic, locally produced ingredients as we can find. We proudly participate in the #supportyourlocalfarmer movement.
Everything here is crafted from scratch. Our house sauces and dressings are mixed in small batches to keep things fresh and oure, our doughs and batters are hand-prepared, and our flaky rolls and buttery biscuits are baked fresh daily. Breakfast mornings fill the bakery with the scent of pillowy cinnamon rolls and warm biscuits; lunch brings golden tallow fries, savory breakfast burritos, and an ever-changing selection of fresh-baked treats and seasonal pastries.
When it comes to our burgers and hearty sandwiches, we proudly feature local, grass-fed, grass-finished Blue Range Ranch Beef — raised on nearby pastures for superior flavor and sustainability. Each bite reflects our dedication to honest, nourishing comfort food: handcrafted, lovingly prepared, and made to share.
Come taste the difference of small-batch, scratch-made cooking in the heart of the San Luis Valley. Support local farmers and enjoy food that’s wholesome, flavorful, and made with real care, just like grandma used to make!
